Backsafe Bunting

Established in Melbourne as a family-owned business in 1979, Baby Bunting is now
Australia’s largest specialty nursery retailer and one-stop-baby shop.  Their core purpose is
to assist new and expectant parents in navigating the early years of parenthood.

Baby Bunting has experienced exponential growth year on year, and it is an exciting time
with new stores opening across the country and online sales increasing daily.  Focused on
keeping employees safe, Baby Bunting certainly took safety month seriously.

It’s a busy time of the year with the lead up to Christmas, but Baby Bunting still prioritised
having Backsafe provide musculoskeletal disorder prevention talks to their warehouse staff
at the Dandenong South headquarters as a pilot to a wider program in 2019.

With not a PowerPoint slide in site, the sessions were delivered with edutainment.  The
dynamic team at Baby Bunting Dandenong South have now learned not only about aspects
that can cause MSD injuries at work, but how to work to their strengths when manually
handling.

It was our pleasure to receive feedback including “that was the best safety talk I’ve ever
been part of” and “I’m going to work hard to be safer every day”.

If you need a cradle, visit babybunting.com.au.  If however you want to rock your safety
statistics to zero; get in touch with the team at Backsafe.
